Free Haul Non-Profit Company is a place where volunteers are working together to create an alliance between the Non Profit community and the transportation industry. We at Free Haul NPC have created a place where volunteers can donate their time and equipment to ensure there is no load left behind. Free Haul NPC understand the needs of the people and animals out there today. Free Haul NPC also knows what can and will happen again this year, and next, and so forth. Free Haul NPC's primary focus is preventing and planning for our next disaster, and getting help where it needs to be for current and past disasters. Help us prevent the lack of response which cost hundreds of thousands of Animals and People their lives due to lack of water, food, or the resources to just get out of the area.

Weekend Edition - Saturday, March 25, 2006 · Many high school students affected by Hurricane Katrina at the outset of the school year have had to make the most basic and fundamental of adjustments. One 17-year-old senior from the Washington, D.C., area is hoping to spare them yet another one. Marisa West, a student at the Georgetown Day School, is working to get prom dresses to those in need. Linda Wertheimer talks to West, who has arranged for dress collection at locations in Washington.
