Flood-Stricken Iowa Pets Reunited with Owners

Nearly a hundred pets were reclaimed by their owners yesterday after a severe flood ravaged Iowa, while many more animals kept in makeshift emergency shelters wait to be reunited.
American Humane Announces Foreclosure Pets Grant for Member Organizations
The American Humane Association recognizes that animal shelters, rescue groups, and animal care and control agencies are seeing more animal victims of the economic downturn and the housing foreclosure crisis. 430 Big bags of Nurtro Dog Food and 650 big bags of Cat Food
This food was give out at Thanks giving and Christmas
The pets of the Elderly and the Disabled were the biggest winners in the community food bank partnership with free haul npc

In June we started out with 300,000 pounds of pet food in Decatur Al

July came in with a great dream close to our heart here at free haul

Over $100,000 worth of goods sent for Waveland area relief sit locked in a warehouse in Bay St. Louis that are supposed to be distributed to those in need. The problem? The owner of the warehouse won’t release them to either the 501(c)(3) or the legal owner of the goods.

Editor's Update 1/23/07: Christina Davis is currently on her way to Waveland and as of Tuesday at 3:23 p.m., is stuck in a snow storm on I-10 just past El Paso. Davis says she plans to be in Waveland by Friday Jan. 26th.
